Zigwan's Cattery - The Sweet Siberian Cats

image002.jpgIn my little home cattery I have my very first Siberian Cat, Chili. She is a gorgeous show cat but most of all, a super beloved family member. Because of her sweet temperament and excellent type I decided to let her have offspring. The mating to a carefully selected handsome stud took place at Easter 2004. The wonderful A-litter was born on 12.6.2004. Chili's adorable daughter Anni stayed home, to be a real Zigwan-princess! And since born she has been her mom's favourite kitten, of course...

On 10.2.2005 I travelled to Russia to import my first breeding male, owned together with Lumikissan Cattery. This lovely deep red baby boy stole my heart: he was so brave to sit nice and easy beside me, all the long way to new home.  Kaapo was settled down to live with Mr Sami Ala-Kokko, who already had a young male, Arttu, waiting for a playmate.

image004.jpgIn the summer 2005 my sweet ladies were mated in two weeks between. The B-litter was born 11.7.2005. My dream about an own tortie came true! Cute Bel'skaia moved to FIN*Shaman's Cattery to be owned together for breeding. Handsome blue tiger Paavo moved to Sami's studhouse.

The C-litter was born 22.7.2005. These "brownies" will create the strong base for my traditional Siberian breeding. I picked up a snowhite harlequine princess Cholena for breeding because of her marvellous type. This girl lives in the same loving home as her uncle Elvis.

25.5.2006 was the birthday of my traditional D-litter. Cute little Donita was my selection for the next generation Zigwan's breeding queen. She is living in the loving home of Pirjo and Sissi.

14.4.2007 was the time for my dream-litter, The Vikings. There was only one female, and she was my selection. Deep red Ellen stays home and maybe will be the first queen mated into Zigwan-line. This litter is very valuable for my breeding, so I picked up the best male too: "creamy king" Emil moved to Pirjo's home, where he will get the best possible care.

After E-litter didn't come F-litter, but G-litter...=). This is only because little Donita was so fast to be queen that she passed her half-sister Cholena, who had the reservation for F-litter... Complicated? Not at all, while talking about my queens! Anyway, 30.8.2007 the stunning West Coasters were born. All traditional, strong, kind and beautiful. I took the male Nicki as Zigwan Prince, and he has a loving home at Elina & Veksi, close to me.
